Our Planning Committee has been working hard over the summer to prepare for the 2017 Session of the Western States Leadership School. Today, we announce many of the key logistical updates for the 2017 Session. Help us spread the word across the Realm as we prepare for our best Session yet.
Who? You, your brothers, and your advisers/alumni.
What? A weekend of executive-leadership training and fraternal fellowship.
Where? The Alexis Park All Suite Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
When? February 24th to 26th, 2017.
Why? Intensive, thought-provoking leadership training from world-class Greek leaders and advisers, all with 300 of your brothers against the background of Las Vegas.
How? Registration information is below, along with other key information.
Registration is now open for collegiate and alumni attendees. Registration will cost $250 for collegiate attendees for their three-day program and $150 for alumni members for their two-day program. Chapters who send groups of eight collegiate attendees, with each attendee attending one of our eight program tracks, will receive special group discounts.
Our draft schedule is available for the weekend. Similar to past sessions, our schedule runs from Friday early evening through Sunday morning; the Alumni Program will begin Saturday morning. Most meals are included in your registration, with Saturday evening excepted.
Building on the theme from the 2017 Session, our seminar tracks are based upon how we feel our fraternity’s leaders should be: Well Organized, Well Prepared, Well Educated, Well Disciplined, Well Versed, Well Invested, Well Connected and Well Informed. Each of these aspects touches upon key aspects of fraternity leadership, and our attendees will select one of these aspects as their seminar track for the 2017 Session.
As always, we are seeking exceptional leaders to join our Faculty. Collegiate and alumni members who excel in the topics covered by our seminar-track listing are encouraged to apply. Applications are due Oct. 10, 2017.
Just like our faculty, we are seeking dynamic collegiate members to serve as Ambassadors for the 2017 Session. These invaluable leaders help the Planning Committee execute the School’s curriculum and vision. Outgoing, commanding and adaptable brothers are encouraged to apply. Applications are due Oct. 10, 2017.
We are always looking for business sponsors and philanthropic partners who supplement our curriculum, our theme, and our values. Individuals, organizations, and business are encouraged to join us in presenting the 2017 Session to our attendees.
The Board of Directors has authorized the issuance of scholarships to worthy attendees. Applicants and their chapters must meet certain scholastic and registration requirements. Applications are due Dec. 30, 2016.
